CE mark requirements

Why EMC testing and measurements concern all of us?

Virtually all electrical products from the simplest kitchen appliance to the most sophisticated medical devices are potential emitters of electromagnetic waves. That means controlling and calibrating electromagnetic compatibility is increasingly becoming a necessity.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a requirement placed on all electronic devices, equipment, appliances and systems. European, international and manufacturer-specific directives and standards form the basis for compliance testing. EMC testing is conducted in 6th of October at the industrial zone 2. the high level of flexibility, the extensive buildings and equipment, the permanent support equipment for processing of the test specimens in line with practical requirements are important corner-stones of efficient testing. We offer our services in our own accredited and internationally recognized laboratories.

Electrical Safety

01.

Electrical and mechanical tests in our laboratory (in cooperation with the EMC laboratory).

02.

All electrical equipment, products and systems must be tested (and in some cases certified) in order to demonstrate that they comply with safety requirements, e.g., with the European Low Voltage Directive or international IEC requirements. Product marking such as CE marking is stipulated by law in line with the various Directives.

03.

The manufacturer or the organization placing the technical products on the market is responsible for the appropriate documented evidence of conformity with market supervisory authorities.

Environmental

To reach higher protection quality, avoiding liability claims are the basic goals of environmental testing.

Furthermore, environmental simulation testing is becoming increasingly important. That’s why appropriate testing that’s in line with recognized testing standards is necessary in order to be able to assess the quality of the product as well as the elements’ effect on the product. Those environmental factors include: transportation conditions, warehousing, temperature, humidity and mechanical loads. All of them play an important part in this requirement. Influences of this nature can also have a severe impact on the operational life and reliability of the plant, equipment and products.
